Internet Ads fall into 3 main categories, text, images and movies. A full internet advertising campaign will include all forms of advertising.

Text Ads - Test advertisements are the most prevalent and were made popular by Google and their Adsense and Adwords advertising programs.


Image Ads - Image ads are recognizable as banner ads and are often used to sell specific advertising campaigns or specials.

Movie or Moving/Interactive Ads - These ads are made with Flash animation like the title on this page or this link.
